Land Rover has announced that its iconic Defender model will receive a new look for the 2026 model year.
The Octa Black appearance, as the name suggests, features a Defender in which every inch of the vehicle has been coated in black paint, either satin or glossy.
This includes skid plates, recovery hooks, exhaust tips, Land Rover badges, as well as the wheels and brake calipers.
The exterior is finished in Narvik Blackwhich is being called “the truest black” in its lineup. The interior follows the same theme, using carbon fiber trim throughout.
Additionally, the Octa Black version receives a new 13.1-inch central touchscreen, replacing the previous 10-inch unit.
Other than that, the edition keeps all the power of the standard Octa: a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine under the hood that produces 626 horsepower.
The official price of the special edition has yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be close to that of the standard Octawhich starts at $153,625.
