In all, the United States maintain military facilities in at least 19 locations in the region. But many regional analysts consider 10 of them as permanent: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait and Syria.
