The Russian attack group consisted of marine attack units, sea patrol groups, missile boats and units with tub and bastion coastal missile systems.
During the operation, the forces conducted electronic missile attacks against naval and land goals representing hostile forces.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the exercises also included simulation of defense against a hostile attack on the Kaliningrad region, using modern air defense and missile defense systems.
Among the highlights of the operation were the missile vessels in the Buyan-M class-Naro-Fominian, Zeleny Dol and Serpukhov-equipped with Kalibr-Cross missiles. These vessels carried out simulated precision attacks against surface goals and coastal structures.
The exercise demonstrated the Russian Navy’s ability to detect and neutralize hostile marine groups anywhere in the Baltic Sea, according to official assessments.
