One woman and two men were arrested and investigated for terrorism after infiltrating last week at a UK Military Air Base, an action claimed by the Palestine Action group, the anti-terrorist unit of Southeast England said on Friday.
The detainees are a 29-year-old woman and two 36 and 24-year-old men, arrested on Thursday (26) in London and Newbury, in Berkshire County, southern England, on suspicion of committing, preparing and instigating terrorist acts, the source said.
In addition, a 41 -year -old woman was arrested for allegedly helping a criminal, but not by military base activity.
The three arrests for terrorism are related to last Friday’s incident on the British British Air Force (RAF) Brize Norton base on the outskirts of London, where they damaged two Voyager military aircraft.
The suspects, whose identities were not disclosed, remain detained in a police station while the investigation into infiltration at the base of RAF continues.
After the incident, the government has announced that it will prohibit Palestine Action’s activities for their disruptive acts in favor of Palestinians and to interrupt the supply of weapons to Israel.
The Interior Minister, Yvette Cooper, foresees to present a text next Monday to be approved by the deputies, who will ban the organization under the law of terrorism.
