The Ukrainian manufacturer Wild Hornets has developed an interception drone that can reach a height of 11 kilometers – an innovation that should significantly strengthen the air defense of the country.

The company announced the news via social media, accompanied by a video in which the drone can be seen while flying over the Chersonal region in southern Ukraine.
This technology is seen as an important progress in the fight against large Russian drones that operate at great heights for reconnaissance and attack missions.
Despite the attention, no technical details or designs of the intercept drone have been revealed for strategic reasons.
According to the developers, the system is not yet officially coded by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. The introduction of these intercepting drones is an important step to protect soldiers and cities in Ukraine and the capacity of the country to strengthen Russian air threats.
