United States President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he gave up withdrawn sanctions against Iran after the supreme leader of the Asian country, Aiatola Ali Khamenei, declared “victory” about Israel and the Americans.
In a message on the Truth Social Network, Trump again said that Iran’s nuclear facilities bombarded by the United States on Sunday (22) were “obliterated” and knew where Khamenei was hidden, but did not want to kill him and stopped Israel from doing so, as well as performing an attack on Tehan that could be the “final knockout.”
“I saved him from a very ugly and shameful death, and he doesn’t have to say, ‘Thank you, President Trump!’” He wrote.
“In recent days, I have worked on the possible removal of sanctions and other measures that would have given Iran a much greater chance of a full, fast and complete recovery,” the US president continued.
“But no, instead, I received a statement full of anger, hatred and revulsion, and immediately abandoned all the work of relief from sanctions and more. Iran needs to get back to the flow of the world order, or things will only get worse for them,” Trump said.
“I would like Iran’s leadership to realize that it is often possible to get more with honey than with vinegar. Peace!”, Concluded the American agent.
On Thursday (26), two days after a ceasefire who interrupted a 12-day conflict with Israel, Khamenei sang victory in a video statement.
“The Islamic Republic slapped the US face. He attacked one of the important US bases in the region,” Khamenei said, in reference to an attack on Monday (23) to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest American military base in the Middle East. Iranian missiles were intercepted and there were no injuries.
