This notification sent to Harvard is indicative that the Trump government must move through the Justice Department an action against the university due to conclusions that there was a violation of civil rights. The document sent to the Harvard president says the university was silent for two years, while Jewish and Israeli students were threatened and assaulted within the institution. This inaction led many students to hide their identities for fear of being harassed, says the document.
The letter also cites several anti -Semitic images that have widely circulated in Harvard since the beginning of the Israeli war with Hamas. The Trump government lists an image that “showed a dollar in a star of David” and acts of vandalism with anti -Semitic symbols on the institution’s walls, including one with “an Israeli flag with a swastika in place of David’s star.”
