The Ukrainian Navy has announced the destruction of a Russian desant ship on the west coast of the Herson region.

Speaker Oleksii Neizhpapa, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy, said the attack was recorded and shared in the social media, where the ship’s exact hit and fire on board. The ship, which may belong to the Black Sea fleet, was detected and destroyed during coastal motion.
Although the exact time of the promotion was not disclosed, it is assumed that a Bayractar TB2 combat drone was used, based on the user interface shown in the posted recordings. The number of deaths of Russian soldiers is not yet known and the exact type of ship destroyed has not been identified.
The Ukrainian commander thanked the work of the participating soldiers and highlighted the efficiency of the operation. Last month, Ukraine had already successfully carried out sea and air drone operations in the Black Sea, hitting Russian-controlled gas-producing platforms, reinforcing its technological strategy to weaken the occupying forces.
