Slovakia company DefTech has released a test video of the new anti -aircraft system WOLF 25 AD, which was specially developed for Ukraine.
In the test conducted in Slovakia, the equipment has demonstrated the effect by shooting down 400 -meter drones with only seven training ammunition. No program explosion was needed.
Two equipment is already deployed in Ukraine and is being tested further, and it is expected to enter mass production soon, and hundreds of orders are expected.
The WOLF 25 AD features the latest turrets produced by Valhalla Turets and 25 × 137mm Oiricon Automatic Poem that can fire 650 shots per minute. This system can be used in various missions, such as proximity and fuse, hulls, penetration and fragments. The selected caliber provides a good balance between firepower, lightweight, cost, and market availability.
In addition to the armed, the vehicle is equipped with advanced optical sensors and AESA AMMR radars to detect up to 150 targets in real time, and can be detected up to 20 km for fighters and 5 km for small drones. The radar is strong in electronic interference, and it works even in an environment where electronic transitions are activated, and enemy bombardment can also identify.
