The Federal Supreme Court (STF) will face the morning of Tuesday (24), General Braga Netto and Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, former advisor to Jair Bolsonaro, to do it, procedure that clarifies controversial points regarding testimonials about the coup attempted. The two are defendants of the so -called “core 1”, which would be ahead of the organization for the scheme.
Another caressing that also occurs on Tuesday will be between former Minister Anderson Torres and General Freire Gomes, then commander of the Army. The first is part of the “crucial core” pointed out by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the second is a witness in the process.
The hearings in the Supreme will be closed, only with the presence of the deponents, the lawyers and the rapporteur of the case, Minister Alexandre de Moraes. Despite seeking to explain the facts narrated, the witness has a duty to speak the truth, as it does not respond to criminal action. On the other hand, the defendants who will participate in the bundles may be silent and not even telling the truth not to self -incriminate.
