Lula Pin “Farmers who do pix” to Bolsonaro

by Marcelo Moreira

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) participated, this Friday (27), an event in Tocantins that marked the delivery of Land Regularization Titles and Measures for Agrarian Reform. The agent took advantage of the occasion to criticize Jair Bolsonaro (PL) again and to pin farmers who “pix to help the former president.

Lula stated that the measures taken by his government represent a “gesture of civility in this country, which in recent years has lost the habit of civility, because we had a president who lied four years.”

“Everywhere I go, I challenge someone, even those who voted for him, showing a single house made by him in Tocantins, a single road made by him in Tocantins or a single school made in Tocantins. In fact, I am only forced to ask if there is a day care center, because he did nothing but to tease,” he said.

In addition to direct criticism of the predecessor, the petista said that next week the federal government will announce the “third largest crop plan in history”, which, according to him will benefit agribusiness and family farming. At this point, Lula pinned farmers who are Bolsonaro’s supporters.

“And I won’t ask the farmer to vote, I don’t care. I don’t want to know if he’s a farmer who does pix to help Bolsonaro in his vagabond.

Lula has a history of confrusting with agribusiness. In addition to opposing topics such as the environment, land reform and demarcation of indigenous lands, the sector bench in Congress has been protagonist in various government defeats in Parliament, such as the overthrow of the Lula decree that increased the IOF (Tax on Financial Operations).
