Koenigsegg has unveiled its most extreme hypercar to date: the Sadair’s Spear, an even more aggressive version of the already impressive Jesko Attack.
Focusing on performance and speed, the model delivers up to 1,602 hp with E85 fuel, while weighing less and featuring significant aerodynamic improvements. Only 30 units will be produced, all of which have already been sold despite the price exceeding $5 million.
The new machine from the Swedish brand was designed to push the boundaries of what’s possible in a street-legal car. During its initial testing at the Gotland Ring circuit in Sweden, the Sadair’s Spear already surpassed the Jesko Attack’s record by 1.1 seconds, thanks to upgrades to the twin-turbo V8 engine, improved suspension, wider tires, reinforced brakes, and extensive use of lightweight materials, resulting in a reduction of over 35 kg in total weight.

In addition to its impressive performance, the model also stands out for its refined aerodynamic work, including a dual-blade active rear wing and new features such as enlarged canards, redesigned air intakes, and a Gurney flap for cooling and stability.
The car’s name has a personal origin: “Sadair’s Spear” was the horse Christian von Koenigsegg’s father rode in his final race as a jockey—a tribute rich in meaning.
