Israeli attack on market in the gaza range leaves 18 dead

An Israeli drone attack against Hamas members trying to take control of a market in the city of Deir Al-Balah, in the center of the Gaza Strip, left at least 18 Palestinians killed on Friday (27).

According to reports, traders were accused by Hamas of practicing abusive prices and selling products stolen from humanitarian aid trucks. The Interior Ministry, led by Hamas, condemned the attack, considering Israel of committing “a new crime against a police unit in charge of maintaining public order.”

A witness tale that the clashes began after the police conflicted with the sellers, who then “drew their weapons.” Following, Israeli drones fired two missiles.

Images show bodies scattered on the floor and panicked buyers shouting, while ambulances arrived to serve the injured. It is unclear if there is any police officer among the injured.

At the same time, 10 other Palestinians were killed and others were injured in the city of Gaza and Khan Youis, according to Wafa agency.
