Israel Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, accused Iran of violating the ceasefire two hours after the agreement was announced by US President Donald Trump and Qatar. The chancellor promised to “respond tightly to the violation of the ceasefire for Iran with intense attacks against the regime’s targets in the heart of Tehran.”
Iran’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff, General Abdolrahim Mousavi, denied having fired any missile against Israel in recent hours, according to Iranian state media. This occurred after previous denials in the state press, which said reports that Iran had attacked Israel after the ceasefire began were false.
Earlier, before the charge of violation, Israeli’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, thanked President Trump and the United States for his support and “for the elimination of the Iranian nuclear threat.”
“In light of the achievement of the objectives of the operation, and in total coordination with President Trump, Israel agreed with the president’s proposal to a mutual ceasefire,” concluded Netanyahu.
