Iran may again enrich uranium in a few months or even less for a possible bomb, as informed by the head of the UN Atomic Energy Agency (Aeia), Rafael Grossi. He warned that the country has “industrial and technological capacity” to do so, if desired, and stressed that the attacks from Israel and the United States did not annihilate the Iranian structures.
According to the executive, the damage was “severe but not total,” contradicting the statements of US President Donald Trump, who said nuclear facilities were “completely destroyed.” Grossi also recalled that the agency cannot guarantee that Iran plans to build nuclear bombs, but also pointed out that “Tehran has not answered very important questions over the years.”
The absence of these answers left the agency with questions, and the head of Aeia asked Iran to again authorize the entry of UN experts in the country to resume checks that occurred before the conflict.
