The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta, announced that he guided this Wednesday (25) the vote of the decree that overthrow the increase in IOF, proposed by the federal government.
On June 16, the House had approved, by 346 in favor and 97 against the emergency regime to overturn the government decree dealing with the rise in the financial operations tax. The emergency regime allows the project to be analyzed directly in the plenary, without passing through the commissions of the house.
In the vote, only the PSB and the Federation formed by PT, PC do B and PV guided against the application. The leadership of the government and the majority released the benches.
According to Motta, the provisional measure that authorizes the contracting of credit consigned by workers of the private initiative and the bill that exempts taxpayers with income of up to two minimum wages include the provisional measure agenda.
