Military spokesman Zhang Xiagang declared today at the Chinese Ministry of Defense’s monthly press conference that “NATO is a Cold War product and the largest military alliance in the world.”
Still according to the Chinese spokesman, NATO is “a true war machine that sows conflicts and causes wars everywhere.”
The spokesman stated that the organization “exceeded the geographical scope stipulated in its own treaty” and expressed Beijing’s “opposition” for using China as an excuse to advance to East of the Asia Pacific region. “
