Baptized informally “Meiano”, the vehicle drew attention for the nostalgic design, reminiscent of the Uno of the 1980s and 1990s. However, the model that became a sensation is actually a modified European Fiat Panda, created by Italian Andrea Marazzi.
The unusual project was presented at the Panda Pandino event, the largest meeting of Panda enthusiasts in the Italian city of Pandino. Marazzi came up with the idea of turning the car as a personal challenge: he measured his own chest, cut an original panda in half, solved again and created an ultra -compact car with only 50 cm wide. Fully electric and functional, the mini-car reaches up to 15 km/he maintains original parts such as panel, steering wheel, benches and even trunk, all resized.

The resemblance to the Brazilian Fiat Uno is no coincidence: both share roots and the practical style of the 1980s. While Uno was released in Brazil in 1984, Panda debuted in Europe in 1980 as an economic urban car.
Despite the confusion, the viral vehicle is really a custom European panda, nicknamed “The narrowest panda in the world,” made to a single person, won the internet.
